"Victoria and David Beckham's neighbours aren't happy" What have the Beckhams done to annoy them?

Everybody needs good neighbours... But, it seems, David and Victoria Beckham are annoying theirs already - and they haven't even moved in yet.

The power couple will soon make the £31.5 million four-floor London mansion their home, and have big plans for it.
Plans like installing air conditioning into at least five of the rooms - a move that has not gone down well within the tight-knit community.
According to the Metro, one neighbour is so upset he wrote a letter to the council complaining about the move, writing, "The council must identify our deep concerns about all adverse impacts on living conditions from noise, vibration, dirt, pollution and dust from construction and from associated traffic, in addition to concerns about impacts on drainage, on appearance and landscape, on structural stability, and on historic buildings."

The Beckhams have spent the last 18 months renovating the property, and reportedly want air con in the new gym and the wine cellar.

The Daily Mail reports VB and Becks have hired designer Rose Uniacke, who is married to Harry Potter producer David Heyman, to oversee the project.

The first floor will reportedly be just for mum and dad, with a huge bedroom and dressing room, along with an area for hairdressing, make up, and pampering.

In the rest of the house, there will be six bedrooms, an office, a retractable cinema, separate rooms for Victoria's vast shoe collection, and an underground garage.

Staff and security will have access to a tunnel which will take them unseen to a second property, a mews house behind the main house.

It is thought when the work is finished, the house will be worth around £42 million.

The couple sold their previous property - a Hertfordshire estate, once dubbed Beckingham Palace - for £12 million, after buying it for just £2.5 million in 1999.

They also own homes in California, Dubai and the South of France. Nice.
